How much does UGC cost? Creator rates by country
What UGC creators were actually paid, and what brands actually paid them, per video and per country. Built from anonymous reports that our editors have reviewed, with the number of reports and the date on every figure. We started with Sweden.
How the index works
- Creators report what they were paid for a job, brands report what they paid. Reports are anonymous: we store no name, no email address, no company name and no IP address, and the job is recorded by month only.
- Our editors review every report before it counts. Amounts that look implausibly low or high, or sit far from the country median, are flagged and checked more closely.
- Prices are per video: the fee excluding VAT, divided by the number of videos in the job.
- A median is only shown once a group has 10 approved reports, and the range (the middle half of all jobs) once it has 20. The lowest and highest amounts are never shown, because each of them is always a single report.
- Only jobs from the last 24 months count. Raw reports are deleted after 36 months.
- Amounts in kronor are rounded to the nearest ten, amounts in euros to the nearest euro. Jobs paid only in products are not included.
- The index is run together with UGC-guiden, our Swedish sister site. The reports and the figures are the same on both.
